WS-2759: VLASS cube in CARTA -- another fix

After talking with Daniel Nemergut, this is the change he proposed.

Currently, if you select multiple images or a VLASS cube for CARTA viewing on dev, no files show up in CARTA. This is not the case on test, where selecting multiple images and requesting a CARTA session works as expected. This is in contrast to the behavior on dev for a VLASS cube before merging the following MR: 1859.
